Okay, he did it, and he lied about it. Anthony Weiner sent pics of his crotch and sexy messages.

What if he’d simply admitted it? Would it have mattered to you? If he’d told the truth, I’d have not thought a thing about it. The only thing that keeps me from sending things like that is that nobody would read them.

Folks, if you screw up, admit it. It’s easier that way.

Just FYI, my name isn’t Earl. When I started the Modern_Redneck twitter account, I never dreamed I’d have any followers. This was a social experiment to test the reaction of me just being me. Well, damn. I met some great people this way.

Earl was my dad. A true modern redneck. A hard-working, deer hunting, bass fishing, union member, kick-ass guy. Me, I didn’t turn out the way he’d want. I can’t stand the thought of touching a fish, I hunt deer with a camera, and I work in advertising and public relations.

In his honor, I chose his name for my alter ego. If I become half the man he was, I’ll have accomplished quite a bit.
